Welcome to Thomas Cook Support

We're here to help

Do I have to put my laptop/e-reader/tablet into my hold luggage on the journey out or just my return flight, or both?

You are free to bring your devices on your flight out to the Middle East and North Africa, it is ONLY on your return flight back to the UK from Egypt; Kuwait; Jordan; Saudi Arabia and Tunisia that customers will need to pack their laptops, tablets and e-readers securely into their hold luggage regardless of the airline they are travelling on.

These measures no longer apply to Thomas Cook flights from Turkey, following a review of security measures by the UK Government.

If you're travelling on one of our Thomas Cook flights from Egypt back to the UK, we encourage you to put as much or all of your cabin baggage into the hold to help make the security and boarding processes quicker and avoid delays.
